Day Seventynine!!! Cirque du Soleil Corteo!!!

Another rainy Sunday in Paris! HFT and I went to lunch today with his aunt and her friend who were visiting Paris for the weekend.  His aunt spoke Spanish so I was able to communicate with her a little bit.  Afterwards we went to the apartment to show them pictures of our recent travels.  At night HFT and I went to Cirque du Soleil Corteo! It was spectacular!!! The performances were amazing and the storyline was beautiful.  It was such a great evening!  We did get soaked at the end of the night because it was pouring and we had to walk pretty far to get to the car. My shoes and socks were wet and I was cold but it was all worth it to see Corteo! ;)

Day Seventyeight!!! Walking Around and Spending some time writing!!!

Today in the morning I went back to the Hotel De Ville area.  This is one of my many favorite building in Paris.  Afterwards I had lunch with HFT at a cute little brasserie.  We both ate duck magret and a cafe for desert.  I went back to the apartment after lunch and spent some time writing.  I haven't written too much this past month because I have been catching up on sightseeing.  =)

Day Seventyseven!!! Taking it all in because Time goes by so quickly!!!!

Although for me it's very cold right now in Paris... It's not quite full blown winter time yet.  As you can see in the picture above some of the leaves are still yellow.  Most of the trees are bare  but there are still some holding on to Autumn.  Ahhh... Paris what a beautiful city.  Today I just took the time to take everything in as I walked around with HFT.  At night we went to the movies and we saw Puss in Boots.  It was such a cute movie. =)

Day Seventysix!!! I Don't like Cold Rainy Days in Paris!!!

It was very cold today and unfortunately it rained almost the entire day! This made it a little discouraging to leave the apartment.  But I have only 13 days left here so I ventured out for only a little while.  I went to the Hotel De Ville area with HFT.  We had lunch and then a cafe in the afternoon.  Pictured above is the carousel outside the Hotel De Ville.  I love that Paris had so many carousels!  I am going to miss this place so much!

Day Seventyfive!!! It's Christmas everywhere in Paris!!!

Today I spent the day hanging out with HFT.  We went to lunch at a cute little cafe.  Then we walked around the neighborhood.  The picture above is of a huge Christmas tree on the street I live on.  There are actually several big decorated Christmas trees like this all over the neighborhood and all over Paris!  It is truly magical here during this holiday season! =)
